VOICES: Inclusion Teaching Resources and Flashcards
This is a selection of teaching resources on inclusion for use by teachers in schools to promote discussion of inclusion. All the resources were designed in response to the findings of the VOICES project.
There are four teaching resources about inclusion provided here. They include two resources files for two different age groups and associated flashcards:
- Inclusion resources for Ages 7-11
- Inclusion flashcards for Ages 7-11
- Inclusion resources for Ages 11-16
- Inclusion flashcards for Ages 11-16
Version 4, November 2024: The inclusion resources and flashcards have been brought together in one record here and updated in order to streamline the tasks, make the activities more engaging and provide clearer guidance for teachers to use, included expected timings for each activity.

We would really like to hear what it was like to use these resources with your pupils and/or to see what responses to the activities the children offered.
If you are able, we would appreciate a short email offering some feedback on what went well, what you feel we could improve and anything else you would like to share.
Please email Dr Clare Woolhouse from the ‘VOICES’ team at Edge Hill University to help their research or if you would like to get involved in running your own school based research project: woolhouc@edgehill.ac.uk
