NTR Synthesised Model of Reflection - Workshops
The Synthesised Model of Reflection (SMoR) is a new model of assessing reflection, which has been piloted at NTU Psychology.
These are a set of workshops which were used during the pilot to introduce students to the SMoR and guide them through the process. The first workshop is an introduction and discusses how learning from research methods can be applied to reflection to make it a systematic and robust process. The second workshop focuses on identifying appropriate experiences to engage with. The third workshop supports the evaluation and analyses of the experiences. The final workshop provides an opportunity to make sense of the learning in the context of the students' overall development.
These workshops were piloted with the MSc Occupational Psychology students at NTU Psychology. This pilot was part of a Scholarship sabbatical funded by NTU Psychology.
