Access and Success Event: A day in the life of a pharmacy student

This report presents an evaluation of A Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Student, held on 17 April 2024 for Year 12 pupils interested in pharmacy careers. It summarises outcomes and feedback from the day and provides a detailed session plan outlining how the event was delivered.

The day included hands-on clinical skills activities (e.g. blood pressure and BMI measurement), consultation skills training with a focus on autism, pharmacy career guidance, mock interview practice, and observational learning in student-led clinics. The report is intended to support colleagues planning similar widening participation or outreach initiatives.
