Why Engage with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning?

This is an invited talk I gave to the scholarship group at the University of Leicester in 2018. In it, I explore why it is necessary to engage with the scholarship of teaching and learning both in terms of student learning and as career development for those on a teaching and scholarship career path.
