This presentation explores the nuances of humour in multicultural contexts, but can be used to explore the wider use of humour within the classroom and how to avoid the use of stereotypes. Through targeted examples from classroom and social interactions, it examines how cultural differences and language barriers can influence the interpretation of humour. The slides aim to promote better understanding and inclusivity in diverse classrooms.
