Exploring Student Perspectives on AI-Generated Feedback Using a Socratic Method Chatbot

This presentation discussed the results from a long-running project which looked at the prospect and effectiveness of AI generated formative feedback on summative coursework. The findings reaffirmed the role of tutor feedback being integral to the receiving formative feedback. However, students were also keen on receiving AI generated feedback as long as there is human internvention in the process and is faciliated through a tutor-mediated AI tool.
