This presentation looks at the set up and running of a faculty learning community in a Scottish University, based on the Miami model, by Milton Cox. The FLC gave participants increased confidence and supported scholarly activities.

This was presented at the 6th International Academic Identities conference, The Peaceful University: aspirations for academic futures, compassion, generosity, imagination and creation, Research Institute for Higher Education, Hiroshima University.
