Presented at the Meols Cop Research School conference on School Improvement, 7th July 2022.
This workshop considered how school improvement could be achieved by working with initial teacher education (ITE) providers on a Lesson Study project. Originating in Japan, Lesson Study can take many forms, but is essentially a collaborative project whereby a lesson is jointly planned using research, then evaluated to generate new evidence for improvement.
