BRINGING LIFE TO LEARNING : THE IMPACT OF ONLINE SIMULATIONS ON STUDENT ENGAGEMENT
The aim of this research is to examine the impact of online simulation games on students’ engagement. We also analyse if online simulations foster authentic team-based learning for undergraduate and postgraduate students studying Accounting and Finance at a British university. A quantitative survey will be administered to over 300 students and ten semi-structured in-depth interviews will be conducted with lecturers currently using online simulations in their teaching.
