Your Country Needs You, commissioned by Culture Warrington, was a street performance disseminating the stories of people local to Warrington during the Great War. It was part of an initiative to bring innovative culture to the town, and to raise awareness of local history. It was performed outdoors in several town centre locations during one day of the Warrington Festival, and engaged with a transient audience of over 640 people.
The script was written with research by local historian Janice Hayes, and directed by Matt Baker.
