475 was a community reminiscence piece, the community in this case being the staff, and past and present pupils of The King's School, Chester. A narrative and lyrics were created by Newall using reminiscences and archive material as well as stories from the fabric of the building such as the stained glass windows commemorating former pupils who served and died in WWI, and the antique stone statue of King Henry. Lyrics were set to original music by Baker who also rehearsed the piece. It was presented to the school community and then at a gala performance in front of past and present pupils, parents, school staff and invited guests.
