National Teaching Repository Website Archive
This is an archive copy of the ntrepository.com website which accompanied the National Teaching Repository (NTR), an open access, online, searchable repository of open educational resources. The archive copy of the website was taken on 23 April 2025 and deposited in the NTR on Figshare on 1 July 2025.
The NTR
The NTR's aim is to have a positive impact on teaching and learning by disseminating effective interventions that lead to real improvements for students. It was set up in 2020 by Prof Dawne Irving-Bell with initial funding from Advance HE and is hosted by Edge Hill University as a group within the University’s Figshare repository. On 30 June 2025, uploads to the NTR were suspended as at the time the team were unable to secure external funding.
Through the NTR, educators in Higher Education institutions across the UK have shared teaching resources, pedagogical research, approaches and ideas and showcased their practice in a range of formats. Resources in the NTR include lesson plans, games, reports, videos, images, posters, presentations, and more.
Anyone can search the NTR to access hands-on, practical ideas and resources, off the shelf ready to use or to adapt for implementation in their own settings, subject to the creative commons licence assigned to them.
All NTR resources remain in Edge Hill Figshare. View NTR resources.
Current information about the NTR, including its history, can be found on the Edge Hill website.
