posted on 2025-05-29, 10:58 authored by Harsha ParmarHarsha Parmar, Niall Clay

This is an educational resource designed to enhance the knowledge and awareness of pharmacy students regarding the unique healthcare needs of individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Recognising the importance of person-centered care, this resource supports future pharmacists in gaining a deeper understanding towards meeting the healthcare needs of individuals with learning disabilities, including those who may also be autistic.

It has been co-produced by Niall Clay (final year MPharm student at the University of Manchester and brother to Fin who you will hear more about in this resource) and Harsha Parmar, Jaish and Aditi Puri (parents to Sanvi who you will hear more about in this resource) and Vanessa Stout (mum to Fin).
