I created a GIF animation to capture a key reality in today’s AI landscape in the last four years (2021-2024): continuous change. Using Gartner’s Hype Curves for three high-profile areas—Generative AI, Edge AI, and Responsible AI—the animation illustrates how the AI industry’s expectations, interests, and applications pivot from one year to the next. Technologies surge, adapt, and redefine our boundaries, especially when new breakthroughs like tiny and little large language models (LLMs) emerge. These micro-innovations, though compact, drastically expand our imagination of AI’s potential.
