Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we manage stress, relate to others, and make choices and changes in our patient’s presentation. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood, adolescence, through into adulthood. People can experience mental health problems, which could affect their thinking, mood, and behavior. (www.mentalhealth.org.uk). In this article I share my experience and explain why I am an advocate for MHFA.
