Visual system trivia quiz!

This question bank contains 100 questions related to the human visual system. The questions can be used as part of a class activity, could be provided for self-study, or could form part of an assessment.

The resources contain a Microsoft Excel document which allows questions to be filtered according to:

• Question type: multiple choice, short answer, fill in the blanks, true or false
• Area of the visual system: light, anatomy of the eye, retina, optic nerve, optic chiasm, LGN, V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, IT cortex, temporal cortex, parietal cortex, parallel processing streams, dorsal pathway, ventral pathway, visual system
• Aspect of processing: early visual processing, form, motion, colour, depth, spatial frequency

There is also a Microsoft Word document with questions grouped according to the area of the visual system they focus on. There are sub-headings for aspects of processing. The Word document contains the same information as the Excel spreadsheet but permits more direct copying and pasting of questions.
