This question bank contains 100 questions related to the human visual system. The questions can be used as part of a class activity, could be provided for self-study, or could form part of an assessment.
The resources contain a Microsoft Excel document which allows questions to be filtered according to:
Question type: multiple choice, short answer, fill in the blanks, true or false
Area of the visual system: light, anatomy of the eye, retina, optic nerve, optic chiasm, LGN, V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, IT cortex, temporal cortex, parietal cortex, parallel processing streams, dorsal pathway, ventral pathway, visual system
Aspect of processing: early visual processing, form, motion, colour, depth, spatial frequency
There is also a Microsoft Word document with questions grouped according to the area of the visual system they focus on. There are sub-headings for aspects of processing. The Word document contains the same information as the Excel spreadsheet but permits more direct copying and pasting of questions.
