The aim of this workshop is to provide structured time for staff and student discussions regarding sensitive issues around lecture capture with the aim of helping to support lecture capture policy development and implementation. This workshop contains scenarios focused on five categories: Inclusivity, Attendance and Engagement, Study Skills, Policy, and Implementation. For each scenario, there is a brief review of the main issues and links to further reading and the literature, as well as guiding questions to support workshop discussion.

This workshop is an updated version of a workshop developed by MacKay et al. at the University of Edinburgh. As well as updating the evidence-base, the workshop has been reworked to reflect the post-pandemic context and how the pivot-to-online and return to campus have influenced the debate around lecture capture. You are free to adapt these materials as you see fit, and we appreciate any feedback.
