educational resource
posted on 2024-12-12, 09:41 authored by Rumana Rafiq, Holly Matthews, Daniya Abedalreza, Faten Yahya, Matthew Jones

This interactive card game is designed to teach students about key Health and Safety symbols that they will come across during their studies in Biomedicine, Medicine and/or Chemical Sciences. We also introduce key examples of compounds associated with each symbol to allow students to have real-world context of where they will be exposed to these symbols both within their studies or future employment.

This game can be implemented into all levels of study from college to higher education, as an addition to laboratory health and safety inductions or wider teaching to increase understanding and enhance communication across the cohort.
