Food Security Assignment Instructions

An assignment used with 2nd year undergraduates to explore concepts related to food security in an authentic way. Students are asked to design a food security strategy for an independent republic of Yorkshire in the UK in the year 2100, having been given a climate scenario and other details about the ecology and political context. Students have to write a grant proposal and an accompanying infographic explaining the proposal to the general public. Resource includes assignment instructions, marking criteria and the grant proposal form students complete.
