<p>This short chapter describes the pedagogical principles used to redesign the curriculum of the Academic Professional Apprenticeship/ Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education at Nottingham Trent University.</p>

<p>The curriculum design principles explored in the chapter are particularly useful to course and module leaders delivering long, thin modules. </p>
