Designing ethical pedagogic research: World's Most Rigorous Ethics Board activity

This handout is used as the basis of an activity. Groups of participants are invited to valuate one or more of the studies as though they are members of a research ethics board. They are asked to consider what ethical issues might arise from the research design; whether there could be any risk to participant wellbeing; and how they would constructively advise or guide the researchers in creating a robust study that places participants' wellbeing at the forefront of the research.
