Creating a sense of belonging for all students in higher education is essential for their academic success and well-being. This work focuses on strategies to support student integration and value within NTU's Biosciences department. Key approaches include a specially designed tutorial system, active involvement of course leaders with students, personalised interventions, drop ins for assessments and course leader meetings to set expectations and answer questions.  Although in its early stages, the aim of this project is to demonstrate that these practices can help all students feel supported and empowered to thrive academically and beyond.
