Colleagues at the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) who hold Advance HE Fellowship have authored case studies exploring an aspect of their learning and teaching practice through the lens of the PSF 2023. This project was initiated to support colleagues seeking to apply for Fellowship through the UHI institutional scheme ALPINE at categories D1-D3, to develop their own understanding of the PSF 2023. The case studies are also for colleagues who are interested in approaches to learning and teaching who might already hold Fellowship or are not eligible to apply for Fellowship, for example colleagues working in fully FE roles.  Colleagues have authored examples of their practice that align to the dimensions, using the Areas of Activity as a lens to the other PSF dimensions. Many of the authors are also mentors and reviewers and the project helped them to develop their own understanding of the PSF 2023.
